Hello, I have an engine that came along with a HD6G that I just purchased. The fellow said he believed it was from a HD7. The information from the engine plate is as follows;

7000 4338515 7-20723

If it is from an HD7, can the year be determined as well? It is a turbocharged engine.

Thank you,
Steve

The hd7 with 4 cyl.motor turbo is a 7000 and should be 1967 and the hd7 gb with 6 cyl. is 3500 motor.

Just so I have my facts straight, is this engine the same as the non-turbo model, or completely different? What is the displacement? I imagine that it is completely different than what is in my 1956 HD6G, right?

Thanks,
Steve
