A local batchelor had passed away while waiting for parts for his d6.He had just installed new drive spockets and sent tracks away for rebuild, problem is no one knows where he sent them to.We have tried the all the shops that do this but cant locate the tracks. We now have to look for a used set of tracks or is there another make that will fit this machine as we have to get it ready for the estate sale?Machine serial number is D68u2332 Thanks

Are you in the NY area? We have a place here called DAW or Flo weld in Germantown NY. They do a lot of track work in the Conn, Mass, NY, Penn. area. Dave!

You really need to find those tracks. They can't be to far away, shipping would be prohibitive. Check local Cat hobby fans, they usually know where the bargain track work is done.

The other option is to change to the later D5 tracks but it requires a sprocket change to match as the D5 is a different pitch. The 8U model is narrow gage so you are limited in track width.
