I posted a couple weeks ago about this same backhoe with no drive. Well since I've had it split and inspected and resealed EVERYTHING to do with the reverser, the pump looked fine but the bushing that the torque converter runs in was a little suspect, so I replaced the pump. I put it back together and it works fine (but never did see anything really wrong) customer picks it up and the drive has since quit on him twice. From what he tells me it sounds like the trans. pump is getting air as a few seconds of high idle gets it to moving again. The trans. de-clutch feature is unhooked there is no wires whatsoever going to the control valve and was that way when it came here and had been working that way. I'd appreciate any advice anyone had on this thing.

I think you should install a new solenoid for the de-clutch feature and try it..It's possible it shook something loose in it and is giving you an intermittant operation..Then take it from there..
