Are they supposed to be 24 volt. All 3 are burnt out. I checked the voltage at the light and it reads between 24 and 25 volts. Is there supposed to be a 12 volt step down relay or transformer?

I recently replaced mine with a 12V set from an auto store, then bought 24V bulbs to fit them.
Buy a set of 12V lights that will take replacement 24V bulbs. In my case I changed from H1 (12V) to H3 bulbs (24V).All worked fine.
I have many Mits lights laying around...none of them work & Mits want a lot of $$ for bulbs.
I have a few early Mits BS3 parts for sale.

That sounds like the route to take, thank you.
