Working on equipment for a living I know in my neck of the woods seeing a piece of Hundai equipment, of any kind, in the field is a rarity. That right there tells me something about them without actually hearing anything about them. The big three around here seem to be CAT, Komatsu, and Deere. I know Kawasaki also makes loaders and a few quarries we deal with have used them in the past but the always seem to come back to CAT. The biggest thing is you get what you pay for and with the "big three" you do pay more up front but you get better parts support, etc in the long run. My personal opinion based on what I see out there is find a nice used CAT machine that's pre computer and run with it. You can take the difference in what you'd pay for a new machine, of any brand, and put it toward refurbing the older CAT and have alot more reliable machine in the long run that will probably still be running when a new machine bought at the same time is quitely rusting away in a scrap yard. With the older CAT's when you do have problems with it there are usually aftermarket parts available at a reasonable price and there are dealer parts available also. But that's all just my opinion....
