Need a grease gun for JD 440 track rollers

In theory a low pressure , high volume grease gun should be used with roller / idler grease.. With this grease gun you can feel the pressure build up in the roller and stop before blowing the seals out. Thats provided the seals and bushings aren't junk already..If thats the case , just pump in chassis grease till you rebuild or replace the rollers..

OR you could remove your grease gun tip, remove the button-head fitting, thread the hose in the roller, grease it, then put everything back to normal. I"ve done that in a pinch.

It's just a special tip, goes on any gun. Your JD dealer has them.
