A fellow has contacted me regarding some questions he has regarding his Cletrac crawler, model ADH (or a model AD with an H added on). His serial number is 6Z042. He is wondering:

1. What model year is his crawler?

2. What is the "H" mean in the model?

That would be a 1948 The H means sidehill or hill that would mean a wider track gauge.

are you certain that the H doesn't designate a Hydraulic pump on the unit? I had a BDH Cletrac and was told the H designated a hydraulic pump to drive the HEIL blade on mine

rick,

If you look at the model # on your heil blade, it will end with a W and the W is to fit a hilside tractor .

HT-35 fits a BD

HT- 35W fits a BDH

The "H" was standard designation for "Hillside" wide gage tracks on the Cletrac's.
