I need to remove the fuel tank in this machine. Looks pretty involved to get out, not sure how best to proceed. Anyone here 'been there - done that' & can give tips? I brought the Tech Manual but it doesn't give any help. Also posted this on the JD forum. thanks

Got a hole rubbed thru it - the brake linkage had been disconnected, link rubbed thru. Has been patched there once before, can't find anything at part stores to patch it with (its plastic)- all patches are for gas filled tanks. Can still get new tanks for $180 or so - figured I might as well bite the bullet and fix while I could still get parts. Great machine other than an occasional electrical problem once in awhile. thanks
