I need somewhere to find parts for a big old military trencher. Its called a Parsons 624vl ditching machine and we need new clutch discs for the transfer case that runs the ditching wheel. Any help from anyone?

If you've got worn steel discs, and know the proper thickness of a new one, you should be able to get new ones laser cut. As for the frictions if their a solid piece of friction material you ought to be able to get them cut with a waterjet, or otherwise machined or whatever depending on the complexity of the disc. In other words a disc with four large tangs wouldn't be all that hard to cut even by hand where a disc with 100 small lugs would be done alot better with a waterjet or something similar. If the frictions are metal discs with a lining bonded to them then you'd need to call somewhere like Ceco friction products and see if they can do something or at least steer you in the right direction.

Thanks for the reply. I think they are the bonded friction with tangs. Been awhile as I was trying to get parts and couldn't find them anywhere and got kind of discouraged. Will try that company and if that doesn't work out I might try and see if you have any other ideas. Thanks again
