I'm looking to buy a TD9-92 that needs an engine clutch. It's been setting for 8 yrs. Motor turns, machine is partially apart. Has a Drott loader. Can I find parts? What else should I look at before buying?

I have one that I use occasionally. It has the 282 cu inch 6 cyl with a turbo and one shifter with 2 reverse positions on the one stick. Check the under carriage condition. If tracks are loose dont assume you can remove a link to tighten them up. I added a tank heater to mine to make cold starting easier. My bottom rollers are worn out and I found parts can be hard to find. Pretend you need a missing air cleaner or injector orfan blade or whatever and look for one on the internet and see just how hard or easy it is to find that item. I do like the machine I bought but it does need more work than I really want to do. I have about 4500 in it now. think before you buy. Once you buy it you are married to it. I like to get things at a good low price so I could sell it easily and get my money back if I want. If I get it at my price then good. If I dont I apply the sour grapes thery to it and I figure I avoided a lot of hard work I didnt need and was better off without it. Good luck
