Well I guess its official, we're thieves! Went to check out the 416 Cat today, took a long time to get it going, just didnt seem to have enough compression to fire, tried either, gassy rag, wd40, even hit it with 24 volts and it would only try to fire one cyl. finally chanced dumping some oil down the intake(prob a good half cup) let it work its way to the cyls and just when we were about to give up for the day I hit it one more time with 24 and she took off. I shut it down after about 10 seconds crossing my fingers that we didnt toast anything. went back to 12 and it cranked right up and ran like a top! Its not all that pretty but other than a cpl leakin lines on the hoe and a little slop in the swing cyl bushings it runs great!...I think all Im gonna do is fix the leaks and paint the hood and a cpl other minor nit-pic things and move it north. there a cpl of pics in the photo sec under todays tractors( you have to hit the "see alblum" button to see em cause I goofed) I feel like I really lucked out this time, I doubt it'll take more than a few hundred bucks to make this thing turn-key

Its in the florida Keys, Im in Fort Lauderdale and we'll be taking it to north florida just outside of Palatka....Its goin to replace my old 320 Case combo that currently has a blown head gasket, Im going to put a head gasket in it in a cpl of wks and sell it. The Case(gas) will be fine for around the farm type work but with this Cat I can go out and make some $$ as well....
