Can any one tell me if there is a heavy type washer
that fits to the front cast cross support. There are four bolts that go into the C-rails.
These bolts are 5/8-11s and they have being replaced with any thing that will fit(large lock washers, 3/4 water pipe and so on) there is what looks like a area that has had a counter bore in each of the four positions
This is what isleading me to think that some kind of washer fits into them any one have any ideas?

Many of the early Deere crawlers had floating track-frames - and they hammered and wore something awful. With the 450 series, Deere sold changeover kits - especially for the 450Bs - to make the front-crossbar to trackframes a rigid-mount. It used to be part # AT53397 for the kit, but now - I think it has to be bought in individual pieces. The 350 crawlers didn't get any such kit - because - when they were bolted solid, other things would crack - it just wasn't a strong engough machine. But, the 450 series handled the solid mount fine. As I recall, the 450 C series came solid when new. My point to all this - is - you're probably better off trying to find a way to mount your crossbar in a solid way. Otherwise you probably need to do a lot build-up welding and machining to make the old-style headed bushings fit anything.

Those are supposed to be " headed bushings ". On that old style crossbar, the track frames aren't supposed to be tight. They have to " walk " some..
