JD 420c, 4 roller, pins & bushings are shot. Finals have been changed and one sprocket replaced. On the side with the replaced sprocket the track pads are rubbing and wearing badly about where they would contact the rock guards, maybe 1/8" deep. Lots of frozed stuff in the underside. Are rollers adjustable? Could they be froze up or wore out allowing track to rub? They are 4 bolt pads. Could there be more than meets the eye? Appreciate any help. Thanks! joe fabregas

if the pins and bushing are worn out the chain probable is also, height reduced. Yes rollers wear out, no they are not adjustable, you may be able to build them up with weld or rehull them. I sounds like time t start hunting an undercarriage shop. if you continue to rund thenm the pads will eith wear through or break.

Thanks, Bob. I was kind of hoping I could put in new pins & bushings, and maybe find a worn roller or two on that side. Or maybe an adjustment on the rock guards. Could the track frame be worn on that side? It sounds fatal. Regards, joe-
