My old wheel loader needs a new radiator. I know they dont make them anymore and I was thinking of pulling one from a schoolbus or something. Are physical dimensions all I should be looking for when looking for a replacement rad? It's a mid sixties Massey 470 with the perkins diesel. Re-coring is not possible...the rad is too far gone for that. thanks!

if you have the top and bottom tanks on radiator, take it to a radaitor shop and have a new core built and put in. My cousin does them for me and its cheaper than i can by a good used radaitor. Don't get me wrong the more cores more money

Industrial equipment usually has heavier duty rads than vehicles. Does the rad have an oil cooler? The MF 470 uses a 4-236 engine. This is a very popular engine. Maybe you can find a used tractor or equipment rad that had a 236 Perkins? Dave
