I have a 480D Case backhoe. Where is the greese fitting for the main hydraulic pump. It is driven off the front of the crankshaft. I can see the splines of the pump but can't find the greese fitting.

It probably doesn't use a grease fitting on the pump shaft. I assume it's a straight shaft with no u-joint. Dave

I think both of you are right. My owners manual says there is a fitting and has an arrow pointing to the crank pulley on the right side. All I can see is about 1/4 inch of pump splines going into the center of the pulley.--THANKS--
