Ih 340 A dozer in the shop

I got the 340 in the shop finally, I see its going to need a lot of tightening and adjusting but over all I dont see it being all that bad,

we had all the parts off of it in 4 hrs with 3 guys, scraped all the grease off and ready to start tightening looking for broken pieces, so far so good only going to be some hoses and bushings that we can tell so far

this is a pic of us bring 2 of them home,,the 4 in one will get in the shop next,

Pat; Nice pics! and crawlers. I know what you mean about finally getting the 340's in the shop. I finally got my JD430 in our shop. Well first we built a new shop! The pins and bushings are bad on this dozer. And after you get the tracks off, "you might as well" ck rollers and frame. Just got the left track frame off and rollers off and found a large crack in the frame. I think you can do 2/3 old tractors to one cat!! The heated floor helps the old bones and a grt way to spend retirement! Have fun Bob
