Were any of the early IH dozers gas powered or were they all gas to diesel like the TD's? I am becoming interested in them. For the few jobs I would have for one the gas motor would be less complicated.

Did they ever have have power take-off in back?

If you want a machine to work, (you didn't say what kind of work) go with a T6 or T9. You can still pick up parts for them & will do a good job sooner than one from the 30's. Jere

I am not sure how early you are looking for but the T340's are gas , they can come with pto as well,

I have a 1936 T-20 it starts on gas and changes over to diesel after it reaches running temp.
nad it has PTO

these had gas motors.

Gas powered IH dozers include the T35, T40, T6, T9, and T14. (Only about a down 14's built).
A pto was available.
