Any help on this issue would be appreciated. Original problem was no spark on the pony motor. I found the mag wasnt even rotating due to the fact the drive gear on the mag had 2 teeth missing. I pulled the mag and replaced the gear. Now I'm wondering if anyone knows how to properly put this back together. I know to line up the timing marks, but since the gear broke it rotated several times, so i wasnt able to mark where it was when i pulled it out. - thanks

it has been awhile, but if I remember right there should be a mark on the gear on the pony motor. I had one that the shaft actually broke and I had to replace the the shaft. you will have to rotate the motor and look for a notch or dot on the side of the tooth or between two teeth. good luck
