I HAVE A HD-5 THAT WILL GO FORWARD AND REVERSE,BUT WILL NOT TURN.
I BELIEVE THAT THE STEERING CLUTCHES ARE FROZE,CAN THEY BE FREED UP OR DO THEY HAVE TO BE REPLACED?
THANKS JEFF

I was able to free my steering clutches up by pouring some marvels mystry oil on them and letting them soak for a few days. I have heard diesel will work. if the oil works you will need to clean it off as not to cause slipage when working.

I found some clutch parts for my H3 at SteeringClutch.com, reasonable prices.

Thanks for the info Bob,you guys have been a great help..the dozer has been setting for 6 months through our rainy winter, . so that may be it..it was surprising to me that neither one of the clutches would work at all..

Brake bands may need to be adjusted, check them first.
