HD3 Allis Oil Coming Out of Breather

More trouble with the HD3! I got it running and when I engage the shuttle clutch, it will only move a foot or so before it dies. If I shift the transmission to neutral and engage the shuttle clutch, the motor slows down (as if under a load) and then oil starts coming out of the breather/dipstick on the transmission case! Any ideas what might be causing this? Thanks!

may be stopped up hydraulic filter or screen in trany. Also if you have not, you should pull side plate off trany (where the two oil cooler lines come from) and inspect for sludge. this is also where the screen is.

I noticed that the oil level on the transmission dipstick is way above the full mark. I have also noticed that the hydraulic fluid is very low. Do you think that perhaps the hydraulic pump is leaking oil into the transmission area?
