I have a D41-P that is giving me problems engaging in forward. Reverse always works without any problems. If I shift to reverse then to forward I can get it to engage and it will push a full blade without a problem. Any suggestions?

Thanks

I'm only familiar with the D21 tractor..But , here goes..A quick suggestion is to shift the transmission with the engine off..Can you hear a click inside the transmission from the shift valve detent..When you go to forward , shift it very slowly and listen for the click..If it doesn't have a click noise , the linkage probably needs to be adjusted so it goes all the way into gear..Other than that someone else will need to run you thru checking transmission pressures..At that point, you might be looking at a repair job...

Komatsu D21A-7 equipment in reply to Roy Suomi, 03-29-2007 14:33:52
I have A 1992 D21A-7 Full Joystick Komatsu(Japanese Unit) and wanted to know, in order left to right, what the red "idiot" lights are for on my dash. The old Japanese marking are not legible. Further, where can I buy a "operations/service book ?
And last, I have a button on the blade joystick that when pressed moves the blade left/right. What is the button for on the left directional joystick ? A dummy maybe ?

thanks for the help.

Matt
