I'm looking at clearing about 4 acres of trees, (mostly old box elders), burying a rock pile, taking down an old 30x30 building, and generally cleaning up about 5 acres on the farmsite.

I talked to a local guy, he said about 1 1/2 days this spring to knock down the trees and building, I could burn this fall, then he would come back and bury everything afterwards, another 1/2 day for him.

Does this sound like a good plan, and what should it cost??

Located in south central MN.

ldw, The rock pile that"s there....have you considered "selling" those rocks. I know for a fact that folks buy them at a pretty price if you"re next to some development. Just a thought..Dennis.

By the way, roughly where is this place? I may even be interested. Thanks.

Did the guy not give you a ballpark estimate? Time frame sounds about right. Cost should be around $2400 plus or minus. Based on $150/hr for operated dozer. Assume you know what is required in way of permits for burning, etc.
