THANKS FOR ANY HELP.MARK.

becareful in removing the cover. there are things you can break that are more expensive than the brake linings. the K did not have the sunmp on the fuel tank so it is an easy job to remove without taking off the rops. brakes should run about $200.00 per side, another 75 bucks for gaskets and seals

You need to remove the ROPS and fuel tank to get cover off then pull the steering clutches and bevelgear shaft out. Pry the cover up with a bar to make sure you have all the bolts out before trying to lift it off with a hoist so you don't break it.

Take bolts out of each side of drum and flange connection. Need to roll tractor a bit to get all out. Slack bevelgear shaft bearings and take off caps. Lift out carefully so as to not dammage pinion and bevelgear teeth. Mark the side the bevelgear was on or take digital pic's to get it back together right.
