If it's a 1987 it is not a B model. It is a D model with a slightly higher HP than the earlier models. If I remember it's around 48 HP and the earlier ones were 42 HP. Dave

If it is actually a D model, and not a B, it would have a Saran-France built 179 engine.

As I said at your other post, you better double check the year - that does not sound right, not even close. We sold 350Cs new - late 1970s as I recall, and a B has to be older. A 350B can have either the 152 engine at 39 horsepower or the 164 at 47 horsepower. Weak spots include the torsional isolator that likes to fall apart and sieze the engine at the flywheel, the floating track-frames that wear and crack, and the reverser.

I don't know what kind of price you are talking about - but a good condition 350B with an inside 6-way hydraulic blade usually brings around $7000 - $8000 in my area. And, with a bad undercarriage - sometimes $4000. One thing that Deere never did - and I wish they had - was to make farm versions of the 350s crawlers for uneven ground -with spring-suspension track-frames. Cat did it, so did Allis Chalmers - but not Deere. Even my little Cletracs have it. I used to work in an onion-farming area where all the spring plowing was done with wide-track Deere 350s. When I say wide-track - I mean the tracks were very far apart and also - the track pads were extra wide. Even those things had no type of spring suspension for the track-frames and they suffered for it.
