I have a d4 bulldozer from about the 1950's in my yard. My grandfather has owned it for 40 years, and two years ago we put a rebuilt motor in it. It runs very well, but last summer it stop moving. It made no noise, just stopped. We have had no time to look at it, we own a sawmill. I just don't really use it any more, and I am posting it up for sale. With the bulldozer I have a total of 4 other d4 dozers in parts on my land, dissassembled. There are engines, trannys rear ends, hydraulics, blades, bucket loaders, winches, tracks, rollers, sprockets, everything for the enthusiast. I even have his very first d4 from around the 20's or 30's. All I know is that one is one of the first d4's ever made. He used it for logging. I have an old garage full of gaskets, a head, rollers, pony motors etc... Is any one interested in the whole lot of it? I don't want to send it out for scrap metal, cause someone may still be using this stuff, but I no longer have the time. I am using a 955 cat that does the job for me. For more info, contact me via e-mail, and I will give you any info you want. I live in Essex, Massacheusetts.
