Hi, I am in the process of refreshing the backhoe. It had a non-ford yellow on it. My question is what color or colors were they available in? I've seen them in Ford's industrial yellow and blue - but you never know what the original color was!

Thanks,
jb

I've got a 1964 4000 Ford Industrial tractor with a 723 hoe and 724 loader. I got it from my neighbor who bought it new. It is still all original -all yellow sheet metal but main tractor (trans, eng, rear) is blue colored. Hood lettering is a blue rectangle with yellow letters. Hoe and front loader all yellow. I also have the three owners manuals that show the same colors - (manuals are in black & white but you can still tell).

That's a 1967 Pettibone Multihoe model LDA - with a 3-53 Detroit Diesel and Allison transmission. Pretty big - weighs 17,000 lbs.

Must have been similar to a Dynahoe. I thought it might have been an early Dynahoe. Thanks for the info. Dave

Jdemaris,

Thanks! That's what I thought - but it's better to ask up front than after laying down the color.
