Hi, can someone tell me how to adjust the steering and pivot brakes on my TD340. I can get it to turn, but I have to pull REAL hard on the levers. I'm sure its an adjustment problem, I had the cover off, and the steering linings looked good. I bought a specifications manual, but it doesn't tell me how to adjust the brakes. If someone could email me procedure I would appreciate it. Thanks for any help, Kenny

As the other post says, loosen the locknut to let you make the adjustment. The only thing I would add is that you have to do the adjustment with the steering lever pulled all the way back. Otherwise it feels as though there"s no adjustment left. The right adjustment will be determined by a couple of inches of free play in the lever.
