I have an IH T340 dozer (early 60s) and discovered that the drive sprocket shaft bolt is missing on the left side. Does anyone know the dimensions of this bolt? If so it will save removing right side one to measure it. I dont know whats keeping the sprocket on now but dont want to move it til its fixed. This is the older 4 roller model not the 5 roller A series. Serial # unknown. The books dont give the size of this bolt. Thanks, Charlie

My parts manual says 3/4 by 7, same for older and newer series. They usually specify when fine thread, so I assume this is coarse thread. Incidentally, I suspect you would have no problem taking out the one on the other side; nothing should move. Torque is about 175 ft lb.
