The Twenty Two is a gasoline engine powered crawler, 26 HP. Yours is a later model of the 2F series, they made 578 2F's after yours. Hard to say what the other tank is Does it have a dozer on it or a hydraulic system, might be a hydraulic reservoir. It should be a hand crank start, fuel tank is directly in front of the operator. Spark is provided by a magneto, probably an Eisemann or American Bosch. You may want to see if it's got spark, clean the contacts and or service the magneto, most likely it will need work from sitting, start changing fluids engine crankcase, final drives, flush/wash with kerosene, especially if it's sat so long, water from condensation can accumulate in the various oil compartments, engine, trans, finals etc. The R2 similar to the 22, was gas powered also when the 3J series D2 arrived, it had a diesel engine with an independent gasoline starting engine to start the diesel. The 22 does not start on gasoline and run on diesel. Only other thing I can think of is it having been repowered with a D2 engine,or some other engine although I have no idea if that is even possible, probably has the original engine.
