As with previous posts on the subject of china and it imports. I can not say anything bad about the common man just tring to feed and raise kids
more power to them.
We have let this happen {greed} is the primary motive as said in other posts . But how can we compete in a world economy , when we {USA}hold the the highest living standard in the world. The common man in china earns between 400to500 us dollars a year How can we Compete with that?
I have two girls from china and have seen the living condisons there first hand Last but not least, I am a toolmaker by trade and own a large shop in indiana so I also can feel the sting of loseing jobs and customers!

I rather expected one to respond that way. I don"t misunderstand why. I thought it benificial for some dialogue and some photos of factories. This is always good stuff we can relate to. The fact is we trade with China on huge scale. There can be no point to demean a sincere effort to reach out. For the fact that if everything was junk we wouldn"t be buying it. Also if we have workers reaching out and trying to talk with us about their products it is a slap to treat this with anything but respect.

I guess I have an attitude toward China, as well as the US corps. that are importing goods from there. I am in the tool and die business, and most of our former customers are now importing tooling from China. The imported tooling is always junk, substandard materials, poor design amd workmanship, etc... For some reason, these same companies that buy their tooling, expect us to be there to make it work, for little or no money.. There is a sense of Entitlement, that I owe it to them, to bail them out of trouble. after they made a dumb decision to buy from China, based only on price.. Actually, I have nothing against the individual Chinese worker, they are just trying to make a living... The US companies that deal with China are the problem.. Pure Greed is all it is.. Buy for a penny, sell for a dollar.. Chances are that post was not by a person, but by a trolling computer...

I know now more than I did before. I appreciate your reply on this matter. I'm a half-ssed machinist myself and can't really appreciate what those in the trade must deal with these days. I should have let it go yet by my response I have met You. I think that was kinda worth it to know more.

How would you describe Ningbo? I can look it up geographically. Is it primarily manufacturing area or rural. Are your engines produced local?
