Good morn. to all, I have just bought a 690B john deere and as i dont have any manuals yet, and being a jr. aprentise in the world of moving dirt.
Can any one tell me what the knob and light on the left arm rest is for ?

It should make the machine able to travel and operate simultaneously without mistracking. If you were craning items and travelling... Otherwise it would tend to mistrack if certain dig functions were used.. The cable is usually frozen in place from no useage..
