I worked all day with my JD 350 crawler with no problems. The next morning the left side steering was out. I adjusted to steering clutch per the manual, but no luck. The left track continues to move no matter how hard you pull the left lever. Right side works perfectly. Any suggestions.
Thanks, CR

If the brake doesn't load up the engine when you pull hard then it is probably oil on the brake bands. The clutch can be disengaging, but you have no brake. If it does load the engine then your clutch is not disengaging.

If its a 350C the steering clutches are hydraulic and the lever opens a valve to dump the hyd. pressure to disengage the clutch.

It's a 350 with mechanical steering no hydraulics.

Take off the cover over the clutch and take a look and see what is going on when you pull the lever.
