I have a pitted brake master cylinder on 140 Dynahoe with hydraulic power assist. Where can I get part? Already tried NAPA.

Thanks
Jon

Iknow I am sticking my neck out here so bear with me.I would first see if I could find a place that rebuilds POWER BRAKE UNITS in my neck of the woods. This type of place usually has some one that can identify the master brake cylinder. The costly METHOD would be to go to a machine shop as you can find these listed in the hemmings magazine. They machine these out and replace with a brass sleeve and drill out the orifices making it better then new.Not being able to see it I would try honing it and not worry too much about the pits as it would probably last longer then you thought, CENTAUR
