Dozer tourque converter temp runs high under load. If I run 1/2 throttle (working) it runs the high side of normal range , But the temp increases with speed and load. (2/3 throttle to hot and 3/4 is over the hot mark) If I am pushing harder and she starts running hot (Only takes 5 min) I can back out of it to 1/2 throttle or so keep working and she will cool to the high side of normal in 5-10 min. Also seems to get hot faster backblading. I posted this question last year and got some good feedback. I checked and adjusted breaks...same, I changed fluid...same , checked screen and its perfectly clean , and checked valves and linkages , all ok. I am thinking trans oil pump worn or converter problem. Would like to try other fixes before I tear it apart . Any help greatly appreciated... , Thanks again ... Rich

Rich, get a 600 psi gauge and check the pump pressure at high and low engine speeds in all gears. The pressure should hold 90% of high speed pressure at low speed. If you lose half the pressure you have an oil leak inside trans. If it's good in all speeds but one it's likely a clutch piston seal, it it's low in all speeds then may be the tube from pump to valve or the valve, something you can fix inplace.
