I have heard of others freeing a stuck track pin by moving the crawler tracks into shallow standing water for a period of time to allow the water to free up the rust (water is one of the best solvents for rust). If you do so, after freeing up you will need to run the machine enough to dry out the bushings or they will rerust even worse.

it's not that the pad will not flex it's that you have a frozen link your pin is rusted to the bushing. your machine has been sitting for some time right?. if you run it a lot it might work free. it will not hurt any thing but if you want it fixed the pin will have to be pushed out and the put back in and this takes a BIG press. i'v had some over the years but after about of hard work they did come lose
