CAN SOMEONE TELL ME SOME INFO ON A Terex 8240 Bulldozer. WHAT YEAR AND HOW MUCH DOES IT WEIGH
CAN YOU BUY PARTS AND WHERE AND ARE THEY A GOOD DOZER.

Rosco , If that is the same tractor as a EUClID --C-6,
and I think it is . It weighs about 35 tons. There is one one local that is for sale ,
complete or for parts , the 6-71 in it is stuck
and probably quite tight as it got water down the stack . The rest of the tractor is servicable,
but needs a trans charge pump .It has been sitting quite a few years. It's about to be scrap iron,
owner is getting happy with the hot wrench .

Dave,

It is in south eastern pa about 5 miles
north of the md line and a mile west of the
susquehanna river .

If you are interested send me a phone # and I'll call you with the info. I'm about 6 miles south of it and I have worked on of some of his equipment for the last 30 years.
