My 450 is getting oil in the water and it`s also overheating too.I haven`t really done any checking yet. Just wanted to ask and hopfully get pointed in the right direction...Any help will be appreciated....Bobby

That's kind of uncommon. It usually is the other way around with water in the oil. If you're sure, your problem is probably the engine-oil cooler leaking into the coolant. Usually, where ever a coolant passage is near an oil passage - the coolant has more pressure and therefore travels passes into the oil.

If you have a 7 to 10 pound radiator cap and are running 30 or 40 pound of oil pressure then the oil would end up in the radiator. Now when you have a coolant leak into the hollow voids of a engine like into the crankcase the coolant pressure is greater than the air pressure in the crankcase. A leaking or cracked injector sleeve or the oil cooler seem to be the main suspects in this case. If this machine is run I would loosen the radiator cap when it is shut down so the 7 lb of coolant pressure is not pushing the coolant into a oil passage because the oil pressure dropped to zero when the engine was shut off.
