I need parts for the hydraulic pump on this crawler. I would appreciate any leads on where to hopefully purchase these needed parts. Thanks for any suggestions.

Joe

Hey jdmaris...Thats a good idea about the coupler on the output shaft on a reverser..I don't like to do this on any job unless money is a dire problem..But sometimes ," ya gotta do whatcha gotta do"....

If the splines are cleaned off the shaft....I've been known to get another internal spline coupler from Deere and weld them together..If memory serves correctly about $ 40.00 each..This will allow you to use the unused portion of pump spline...I've got a 450-C loader out there with a 3 year old repair on it...

Baum sells the same couplers for half the price that Deere does. They have the large one for the 23 GPM pump and also the smaller one for the 13 GPM pump.

About welding couplers - we did it on a few Deere 350s on the reverser output shaft where it plugs into the transmission.

The parts used to be available, but no more. If they were, the expense would not be worth it - since a complete new pump is cheaper. Years back, we used to put in new shafts when the splines got wore, or sometimes new centerhousings is one got blown up from overpressure. But, even back in the early 80s - those parts cost almost as much as a new pump. I assume you have an aluminum Cessna - either a 13 GPM for a dozer, or a 23 GPM for a loader. Either size is available new from many surplus and hydraulic suppliers - usually for around $200 - $250. It is NOT a special Deere pump. Case, Ford, and many others use the exact same pumps. Surpluscenter - dot - com is one good place to get them.

I have a hydraulic pump that I bought new for my Caterpillar R2. It runs off pto on front or rear. I decided not to use or install my blade when I put it in shows. I bought it from Hyde"s Equipment in Petoskey, Michigan. I will sell this pump for $200 plus shipping and handling and if you need hoses, or the hydraulic cylinders or the blade, e-mail me or post it on the Forum.

What do you need for that pump?? If you need gears or shafts , just go buy a new pump..How many gallons per minute ?? Dozer or loader ??
