I have a Case 450B dozer and was doing the same thing. On the left side. Pumped up the track adjuster and did the trick. That side bleeds off but I think I need a new zerk in it as grease was shooting back out of it after adjusting. The other things mentioned will certainly be worth taking a look at as well but I'll put money on track tension adjustment as the most likely cause. Thats just me now, I've been wrong before.

Bad bottom rollers can cause your chain to jump some teeth. Also a very worn or maxed out chain can do that as well. The chains should have very little lateral movement in them (side to side). Improper chain tension can do that as well. Use your bucket to life the front of the machine off the ground and check the chain, bottom rollers, look for debris in the undercarrige, as well as make sure the track is adjusted to the right tension. Not sure if I was much help but those are some things to look at. I'm sure a wiser fella on here can offer more insight. good luck bud!!
