After cleaning the radiator I now have air pressure in the radiator. What is the easiest way to test which cylinder it is coming from?

If you have to pull the heads and find a gasket blow check the liner protrusion on that cylinder and on all the other cylinders are within specs,if you find a crack find the reason for it,the inside of the rad is as important as the outside so the coolant can circulate, also be sure about the thermostat, fan, belts and pulleys are in working order.
Good Luck

I was told that D8H's were bad for cracking heads because the radiator wasn't bled of air when filling it with coolant. On my machine they said it's not too much of a problem because it is a way smaller engine (3204). I just thought I'd pass this on if you have to drain the rad. Dave

My D-7 17A had pressure in the radiator, turned out it had a cracked pre-cup. Don't wait too long to fix it,it was also getting water in the cylinder and washed the oil off the cylinder then pulled the top off a piston. Very expensive lesson. When something ain't right find out what is wrong.

To fix it right you will need to pull both heads and look for blown gasket or cracks. But before you get in too deep take off all the fuel lines and try loosening the 1"hex nuts that hold the nozzels in. You may find a precup that turns as you try this. Make sure coolant is drained and if you find a loose one. Replace the gasket under it and retighten. No gaurantee but worth a try.
