hello all; this dozer was working fine, it blew one of the hoses to angle cyl. on blade. hose was replaced; could never get air out; or rather could not get fluid to pressure up to cyls. (I'M posting this for another person; have not seen ) says hydralics seem to make noise @ control valve when moving that function--i remember something about anti-cavitation or blocker valves on some equp. anyone know how to bleed or reset this circuit? thanks for any help----

Howdy....I got a D21P 6 and broke a hose fitting on angle cylinder. Fixed it and could not get air out with any common sense approach. I got the book and followed the procedure, and it works. You got to do some things in order...guess because of the flow thru the curcuits.....??? It's a write up in the manual.
Good luck
Pete

Shouldn't need to bleed a thing..Make sure reservoir is full and cycle the function a dozen times full stroke...

I didn't have to jump thru hoops to get a D-37 to self bleed , just cycled the hydraulics and it worked fine...Curious as to what the manual says...If someone has a manual , check it out and let us in on the secret..
