how much work is it to put steering brakes in a JD 350? mine only one steering brake BARELY works and the brake won't last much longer. i got 2 places that will do it for over $2000 but i know a different person who will do it cheaper. thought about doing it myself so i'm wondering how hard it is to put them in?
thanks

If you don"t have a shop manual get one it will walk you right thu the repair,it is just nuts&bolts and a little bull work no high tech. I sell the manuals ,steering clutch kits or just the brake band(Made in the USA). Email me for my link.

Eddie, I've been trying to reach you for weeks, about those 1010 parts. I have left at least two phone messages a week for the past six weeks. Are you not getting them, or have I offended you in some way? Please contact me as soon as possible. The owner has found some parts from a different source, but I'm not having any luck with the pinion shaft. Thanks, Gary

It's not that big of a deal. I have done several with only hand tools and a floor jack.
You have to split the track, remove the sprocket and the final drive. The brake band will be hanging on the machine when the final is removed.
