I have inherited this old Cat 20. I don't much about it other that the carb is missing and the tracks are free. It has not ran in the past 30 years that I know of, I would assume the engine is stuck. That said. What is it worth, ball park?

I have a 20 also , number PL 4918, wonder if its worth anything , should get it running again. It runs but sure the clutches are stuck. What year would it be.

Yours is a bit later, from serial # PL3890 through to PL5757 is listed as 1930 It is also worth money.Go to the official antique Cat site at the link in AJKs post and you will be amazed at the amount of interest in old Cats esp small ones that can be hauled around behind a pickup.

Still worth money. Serial # PL1 through to PL1669 was built in 1928.

If that"s an 8C and it looks like it is they were only made for a couple of years 1932/33 so it could be rare. Like the other guy said get the serial # and stick it on Ebay as is and see what you can get.

I have no idea on what its worth as I'm the other side of the pond, go over to the Antique Caterpillar Machinery Owners Club (ACMOC)at the link below, there are lots of Cat enthusiasts there that can tell what its worth, it looks a nice restoration project, get the serial number off it and put it in your post with your location, you got to register to post on ACMOC but its free.
