I recently purchased a 1964 TD5 w/Drott loader. It needs a complete undercarriage. Are there any other models of IN tractors that could be used? I am having a hard timer finding parts in Ontario, Canada.

Terry, T-4,T-5,&TD-5 are all the same, Also the 500 model which followed them. The track chains from the 500C & 500E will fit but thats it. the rest of the undercarriage on the C & E models are different.
If yours is a 1964 then it would be a B series, these had the upgraded track chains, grousers, & final drives & are identical to the 500's.

Heres a 500 chassis listed in the photo adds on the left, under Misc

Opps, one more, the track chains from the T & TD-340 are the same as the early T-4,T-5,TD-5 except they used one more link, 36 total instead of 35. You probably wouldn't find one of these machines in your area because I don't think many (any) made it into Canada.

I should clarify on the early vs later track chains, the early chains had a slightly smaller bushing (1.470" vs 1.670") & used 7/16" bolts on the grousers vs 1/2" on the later ones. the link design on the later chains was better also. Either chain will fit, but the later chains are better, & the chances of finding a really good set of the early chains are probably slim anyway.

Some of the early machines came with a 4 roller track frame instead of 5 rollers. These used only 31 links total.
