D6-9U fanbelt adjustment

Help. Can somebody please tell me where the adjustment bolt for the fan, on an old 1956 D6-9U CAT? I only see two plds on the back of the pulley, that is on the fan. I need to know how to adjust the pulley fan belt. Thank you. ASAP

you should find 2 small screw with lock block being the rim puly take them out and turne the fan for adjustement.

The fan belt on your machine is adjusted by making the vee groove of the water pump pulley narrower to tighten and wider to loosen,find the locks and remove them.turn the outer half of the pulley cw to tighten the belt,after you turn it turn the engine so the belt will ride out in the pulley.check the tension and if right put in the lock,do not overtighten the belt.
