My case 1835 gas has been stalling during the heat wave. But it starts right back up. Friends tell me it is vapor locking. How do I correct this?

Check the fuel pump pressure by adding a T inline at pump output and using a presure gauge. If the pump is failing (low psi) it will typically cause vapor lock.

I do not know your machine, but in general:

* Eliminate excess length of gas line
* Route gas line away from heat sources
* Wrap gas line with insulation and foil
* Eliminate high spots in gas line
* Do something to cool down the engine compartment
* Use avgas (not practical in terms of dollars)

Hopefully someone who knows your machine can help more.

Greg
