Hello,
My name is Chris and I am just getting started in tractor collecting. And, I have been doing some research and for some odd reason, crawler tractors and dozers interest me more than tractors on rubber. I am looking for one to restore. I am 17 and, looking for a dozer/crawler about the size of a CAT D2/D3. I live in ohio if anyone knows of any for under like...1,000 dollars. Also, besides the links on this page, does anyone know of any other good crawler links?
Thanks,
Chris

1st;This is a moderated discussion board. No Advertising of any kind is allowed here. This includes For-Sale and Wanted-To-Buy items. Use the classified ads page for these.

2nd; ask over at www.acmoc.com

3rd; Good Luck, cheap crawlwers can be had but you'll spend many times over the purchase price in parts to repair them and alot of time's only used parts are available but thats half the fun!

Chris, It's not a problem that you posted your want ad here on the board, it's real easy to forget, trust me I have done it myself and it was only ment as a friendly reminder that many of us forget.
And as I said I wish you Good Luck with your search, just don't be in a hurry to finish it, it can be done with time and money and the self satisfaction of finishing a project like this is great.
I hope you figured out the ACMOC site as it has alot of great people that will help you after they get done picking on you and it's all in fun, although there is a few that get carried away like at every board.
I'm currently Catless which is my handle on ACMOC but will help you out anyway I can so if you need help shoot me an e-mail and I'll see what I can do.
