I am looking at a 580k hoe. The previous owner hit something knocking the filter completely off.Part of threaded fitting is still in filter the other part is flush with the assembly.Any ideas on how to get it out or would converter housing have to be removed and replaced if so how big a deal and how expensive.Any help would really be appreciated.THANX

If the filter base is not damaged the nipple should screw out,it often came out when I was unscrewing the filter, piece of flat bar that will just fit in the hole might take it by leaning it against one side while turning it,the nipple is not listed as a spare part in the book, the thread size is one and three eight inches 12 UNF,I do not know if Case sell the nipple as I never had one broke,it sure took some doing to hit it where it is.
