1280 case excavator drive question??

My 1280 case excavator hdy. motor drive dosen't work on the left side.Any ideas where I could find one as case says it is no longer available.Thanks for any help!Dave a

You sure that the motor has failed and not the seals in the rotary coupling,have you pressure going into the motor,there are lots of things inside the final drive that can fail that would leave you with no drive,the hollow shaft that goes through the brake sheering the splines for example,you would want to make sure before you buy a motor as you will probably have to leave a kidney behind to pay for it.
