977 Cat No trans pressure

Took a guage up to check pressure at transmission control as per manual.No pressure at all on guage.Took valve body apart and found everything ok.Cleaned it up put it back together still no pressure.Is pump bad even though it's pushing oil through filter?It's a long ways back up the hill to run more tests so any input is greatly appreciated. Thanks Jim

Jim,the pressure control may not be getting above initial setting. Did you see any pressure at all on the gauge, like maybe 50 to 70 PSI?

Bob,Only slight pressure on guage at full throttle.Tractor will move at half throttle when first started but after it warms up it slowly gets worse until it won't move at all even at full throttle.Thanks or all your help.Jim
